Master of Arts in International Affairs and Diplomacy

The Master of Arts in International Affairs and Diplomacy provides advanced academic training in international affairs and diplomacy. Students study international relations theories and concepts, international law, and global policy through a curriculum that includes both coursework and research. The program requires completion of 36 credits, including major and elective courses, alongside a comprehensive written and oral exam or a thesis option. It aims to prepare students for professional roles in international organizations, government agencies, and NGOs, as well as for doctoral studies.

• BA in Political Science, Public Administration, International Affairs and Diplomacy, International Law, or related fields
• Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Minimum 60/100 on the English Entrance Test (exempt for NDU students)
• The Faculty may require the GRE for non-NDU students
• Prerequisites for non-majors may include IAF 211: Introduction to International Affairs, IAF 401: Public International Law, POS 442: Constitutional Law or equivalent courses
