Master of Arts in Public Administration

The Master of Arts in Public Administration focuses on theories and concepts of public administration and aims to develop solutions to challenges in the public sector through practice-oriented and research-based training. Students study public administration theories, policy development and implementation, administrative law, ethical governance, and research methods. The degree prepares graduates for careers in the public sector and non-governmental organizations locally and internationally. Students complete 36 credits including major requirements and free electives, with options for either coursework plus comprehensive exams or coursework plus thesis.

• BA in Political Science, Public Administration, International Affairs and Diplomacy, International Law, or related field
• Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Minimum score of 60/100 on the English Entrance Test (not required for NDU students)
• GRE may be required for non-NDU students
• Prerequisite courses may be required for non-majors
