Master of Science in Computer Science

The Master of Science in Computer Science program provides knowledge and skills in computing fields, covering theoretical foundations and systems and software fundamentals. Students study core areas of computer science with emphasis on software and computer systems, using appropriate methodologies and tools. The program requires completion of 30 credits including core and major courses, with an overall GPA requirement to graduate. It prepares students for leadership positions in computing industries, government, or further doctoral studies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or equivalent
• Conditional acceptance for GPA between 2.7 and 2.99 with up to 6 credits in first semester and minimum grade B required to remove conditional status
• Remedial undergraduate courses may be required; these do not count toward degree credits
• Up to 9 graduate credits from other accredited institutions may be transferred with committee approval
