Master of Science in Human Nutrition

The Master of Science in Human Nutrition at Notre Dame University provides advanced knowledge in nutritional biochemistry, clinical nutrition, and public health. The program combines coursework with focused thesis projects to develop expertise in areas like clinical nutrition, metabolic health, community interventions, and food policy. Students gain research skills and practical experience through mentorship and access to the Center for Obesity Prevention Treatment Education and Research (COPTER). • BS in Nutrition or related field.
• For other health science degrees, 9-12 credits of undergraduate nutrition courses with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0; conditional acceptance with GPA 2.7-2.99 pending completion of 12 credits with GPA 3.0/4.0.
• English test (NDU English Entrance Test or TOEFL) if English not instruction language.
• Possible interview if undergraduate degree is not from NDU.
