Bachelor of Education Hons Islamic Studies

The Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Islamic Studies) at Universiti Industri Selangor is designed to provide education in Islamic education and studies. The programme aligns with the philosophy of Islamic education and the nation, and aims to produce educators who are knowledgeable and able to contribute ideas, energy, and expertise to society after graduating for various job sectors.

Students apply effective teaching and learning according to needs and situations, using the principles of education correctly and accurately to the situation. The programme duration is 3 ½ years. Graduates can pursue a teaching career in any educational institution, and also work in roles related to religious administration and education-related services.

Pass the Malaysian Higher Education Certificate (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and pass at least 2 subjects, one of which is a subject related to Islamic Studies, OR
Passed in a qualification equivalent to STPM or A-Level, provided the candidate passes at least one Islamic Studies subject OR
A recognized Matriculation or Foundation qualification in Islamic Studies with a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 OR
Passed with a maqbūl grade in the Higher Religious Certificate of Malaysia (STAM); OR A recognized Islamic Studies Diploma or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.00.
