Diploma in Nursing

The Diploma in Nursing at Murni Nursing College prepares students for work in the healthcare industry through nursing sciences, health sciences, and behavioral sciences. Students study modules including Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology, Interpersonal Relations and Public Relations Communication, and Pharmacology, alongside English for Healthcare and Principles and Practice of Nursing.

Learning includes classes, laboratory work, and clinical placements. Students complete Clinical Practice and are posted to hospitals such as those owned by Murni Nursing College. The course also includes nursing in the community and in mental health institutions, supported by lecturers and clinical instructors.

Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum 5 (five) credits in the following subjects:

• Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia,
• Mathematics, AND
• Science subject: Credit in general Science (for Arts student), OR Credit in Biology, OR Credit in Chemistry or Physic and Pass in Biology (for science student) AND A combination of Chemistry and Physic without Biology is not acceptable.
• Credit in 2 other subjects AND
• Pass in English
• Age 18 – 27 years
• Marital status: single (male/female)
• Mentally and physically healthy

• Eligible to sit for national level Nursing Board Exam (LJM)
• Awarded State Registered Nurse (SRN)
• Opportunity to work as a Trained Nurse at the Hospital of the Ministry of Health Malaysia
