Diploma in Physiotherapy

The Diploma in Physiotherapy trains students to work as part of the healthcare team, focusing on human movement and client care across ages. Students learn to resolve pain, stabilize injury, and prevent it from increasing. The program includes practical learning with an emphasis on hands-on practice and clinical placements in accredited hospitals.

Clinical placements are specially designed and exceed the 1000 hours requirement by the World Confederation of Physiotherapy. Students learn to assess patients to set up an effective treatment plan, carry out appropriate therapy, and work with patients, care givers, peers, and the healthcare team to plan, delegate, implement, and evaluate care. They also learn communication skills and accountability to professional growth and continual education, within a legal and ethical framework.
