Doctor of Business Administration Dba

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Asia e University focuses on leadership in business administration. Students study theories and methodologies for research and practice, business management processes, and best practices. The curriculum covers managerial leadership and business areas such as accounting and finance for decision making, business strategy and policy, international business, marketing and global business, and new business venture, along with research methods for business.

The program is delivered part-time through fully online and blended learning. It uses a modular type of delivery for taught courses, with research workshops and research colloquia conducted once a month on Saturday and Sunday (optional). Assessment includes assignments at 60% and examinations at 40%. For international students, the viva voce can be done on-campus or off-campus via video conferencing.

Admission is for business leaders, senior management, and rising managers motivated to go through formal doctoral training to solve business problems of their organizations. Experienced practitioners may also choose to switch to academia or take up affiliate faculty positions at academic institutions.

• A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
• A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to having relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; OR
• A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
• Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) recognised

• Achieve a minimum Band 4 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (Mid B2).
• Exemption: an international student from a country using English as an official medium of instruction or from an academic institution using English as a medium of instruction shall normally be exempted from the above requirement.
