The Doctor of Philosophy in Education at University Tun Abdul Razak aims to produce graduates with knowledge and skills to become independent researchers and scholars in specific areas of education. It develops knowledge, skills, and scholarly rigour for independent research in specialised education areas, including the ability to generate critical, innovative, and original research ideas supported by theoretical foundations and research methodologies.
The programme includes taught courses in Research Methodology and Research Seminar, plus Qualitative Research Methods, a PhD Proposal, and a PhD Thesis. It is offered in Conventional and Open Distance Learning formats, with full-time and part-time study options, and intakes in March, July, and November.
Note: Pre-requisite courses: Common Core Education Foundation.
