The Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering at Brickfields Asia College develops doctoral researchers who use advanced theoretical foundations, innovative research methodologies, and emerging engineering technologies. You will combine engineering research with compulsory courses including Research Methodology and Academic Writing and Design Thinking, then continue with PhD Research modules from PhD Research 1 through PhD Research 10.
Learning is delivered full time or part time, with intakes in January, May, and September. Assessment includes thesis and viva voce, plus academic elements tied to compulsory courses through reports, assignments, projects, and presentations. The research component also uses structured academic checkpoints such as research progress, research proposal defense, colloquium or seminar, thesis examination, viva voce, and papers publication.
