Master of Applied Artificial Intelligence

The Master of Applied Artificial Intelligence at Perdana University is designed to provide advanced knowledge and practical skills in AI technologies. The curriculum covers core topics including Concepts of Programming using Python, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Machine Learning, Research Methodology, Quantitative Analysis, and a Dissertation. You also choose two elective core options from Natural Language Processing and Image Processing, Robotic Process Automation, Applied Artificial Intelligence, or Data Visualization.

The program is offered full time for 1 year or part time for 2 years. It has intakes in Jan, June, and Sept. Students complete core modules in year 1 and then select two elective core options, supporting applied work through the program’s emphasis on hands-on learning and industry-aligned projects for areas such as healthcare, finance, and smart cities.

i. A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the Perdana University Senate;
OR
ii. A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting 2.50 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment;
OR
iii. A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in a Non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to a rigorous assessment to determine eligibility and whether a bridging course is required (based on relevant working experience);
OR
iv. Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

International Students: IELTS 6.0 (Equivalent to CEFR Mid B2). If a student does not meet this requirement, Perdana University offers a three-month Intensive English Preparatory program to ensure proficiency meets the program's needs.
