PhD Studentship and Research Associate in Department of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology

This opportunity supports research in the Department of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology at Government College University Faisalabad under HEC’s Technology Development Fund project. The project title is upscaling the cost-effective cultivation of indigenous Spirulina for biotech applications.

Two positions are listed: a PhD Studentship position and a Research Associate (Post Doctoral) position. The project duration is 01 Years, with an extension to another year after satisfactory performance. • Applicants must be Pakistani Nationals and not married to a foreign national.
• PhD Studentship qualification required: MS/MPhil Biotechnology.
• Research Associate (Post Doctoral) qualification required: Freshly graduated PhD.
• Experience/Expertise for PhD Studentship: Experience in large-scale algae cultivation & bioprocessing of algae biomass to bioproducts (animal feed additive, nutraceuticals) will be preferred.
