The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Santo Tomas is offered by the College of Information and Computing Sciences – Department of Information Systems. The program prepares students through an accredited curriculum that covers business processes, computing with specialization, mathematics and social sciences for Information System work. Students also address problem analysis, design and evaluation of computer-based systems, and ethical and legal issues related to Information Systems.
Students follow a curriculum organized across terms with lectures and lab hours listed for each course. The program includes two professional elective tracks: Business Analytics and Service Management. Business Analytics includes Fundamentals of Business Analytics, Fundamentals of Enterprise Data Management, Fundamentals of Analytics Modelling, Analytics Techniques and Tools, Analytics Application, and Analytics Internship. Service Management is designed to prepare students for the IT-BPO industry.
