Research Associate Required by Namal College in Mianwali

Qualification: 

Generally a BSc/MSc degree in Mathematics/ Statistic (coursework and thesis must be completed). Students enrolled on MPhil/ PhD degree are also eligible to apply if they have permission of leave from their supervisor/ department for at least 6 months.

Skills:

Skills which are in particular solicited for this role are: linear algebra, stochastic system (distribution theory, Markov chain), proof techniques and discrete mathematics.

Benefit:

• Salary of PRs 30-35,000 per month (negotiable based on qualification and skills) and one casual holiday each month. Since this is a research position, the role can serve as a launch-pad for candidates to build their CVs before applying for PhD degrees. I am willing to write a strong letter of recommendation to candidates who complete the probation period to the satisfaction of the project supervisor.
• The position will initially be offered on a 3 months probation period, with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance.
