Diploma in Stage Live Events

The Diploma in Stage and Live Events at Ngee Ann Polytechnic trains you in technical theatre and live events. You study stagecraft and stage management, plus lighting, sound, projection mapping, and experience design. The course also covers multimedia content and visual editing, with training for large-scale performances, multimedia exhibitions, and hybrid shows.

You build skills through hands-on learning using equipment and tools at M:idea Playground, an on-campus immersive learning space for hybrid and live event productions. Weekly study hours are listed across levels, with 21 hours per week at Level 1.1 and Level 2.1, 25 hours per week at Level 1.2, 19 hours per week at Level 2.2, and 18 hours per week and 16 hours per week at Levels 3.1 and 3.2.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have the following GCE ‘O’ Level examination (or equivalent) results.

• English Language: 1-6
• Additional Mathematics/Mathematics: 1-7
• Any one of the 1st group of Relevant Subjects for the ELR2B2-A Aggregate Type: 1-6

Applicants must also fulfil the aggregate computation requirements for the ELR2B2-A Aggregate Type ( English Language, 2 relevant subjects and 2 other best subjects) listed at www.np.edu.sg/docs/ELR2B2.pdf.
