Bachelor of Project Management and Planing

The Bachelor of Project Management and Planning at Amoud University prepares students to plan, implement, and complete development projects on time and within budget. The program trains local specialists in using project management tools to manage various projects, with a focus on development projects across all sectors. Students develop skills in project identification, appraisal, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation to meet specific community and national needs. The program runs over eight semesters spanning four academic years on a semester basis of 17 weeks each. It includes coursework, examinations, and a final project in project management during the senior year. Students begin with a freshman year covering foundation courses followed by specialized courses in project management, economics, and related business areas. The course targets students with strong analytical skills and aims to produce practical project managers to contribute to national development and industrialization.

Hold a Somaliland GCSE of at least Grade “C”, or its equivalent from a recognized examination body. Successfully complete a one-year freshman programme at Amoud University with a GPA of at least 2.00. Meet other conditions as approved by the faculty and Senate.
