Master S Degree Geotechnical Engineering

The Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering via distance learning explains the characteristics of geological materials, including soil and rock classifications and their physical, mechanical, and hydraulic properties. It covers stress principles, seepage and consolidation, stress distribution, settlement analysis, shear strength, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, and slope stability. It also examines the design of shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, tunnels, and other earth and rock structures.

The program is delivered as flexible distance learning. The structure is 70% textbooks and 30% project. It requires 36 to 54 academic credits, including 13 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. Students study a geotechnical engineering online component plus other additional subjects. Payment plans may be available up to 36 monthly installments upon request.
