Master S Degree Mining Engineering

This Master’s Degree in Mining Engineering via distance learning covers the role of the mining engineer throughout the life of a mine. It includes prospecting for the deposit, determining the site’s value, developing the mine, extracting mineral values, and reclaiming the land afterward. The program focuses on sustainable management of land to meet economic and environmental needs, and it covers aboveground and underground methods for metals, nonmetals, and fuels.

The program is delivered as distance learning online. It has a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% project, with a duration ranging from 9 to 12 months. It requires 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program, and the credited composition includes Mining Engineering Online plus other additional subjects and research methodology with a final project or thesis.
