The University of Jaffna offers a Master of Clean Energy Technologies programme in collaboration with Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. The University of Jaffna and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences jointly developed the curriculum under HRNCET and CBERC projects. The programme is intended to help produce technical workforce for clean energy technologies.
The programme has two tracks. One track is a Master of Clean Energy Technologies with only taught courses. The other track is a two-year Master of Science in Clean Energy Technologies. Courses are taught by academics from universities in Sri Lanka, India, USA, Sweden, and Norway. Students who excel can continue to a split-site PhD programme in Norway.
