About this program

The University of Jaffna offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours in Music, Dance, Art and Design Degree programmes through the Sir Pon Ramanathan Faculty of Performing and Visuals Arts. Students follow courses in Music, Dance, or Art and Design, based on the subject they choose for admission.

Selection uses an Aptitude Test. Music and Dance use a Performance Test, while Art and Design uses a Practical and Aptitude Test. Applications are submitted online, and eligible candidates receive an Admission Card only via email.

Entry requirements

Candidates who wish to follow the courses of Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours in Music, Dance and Art & Design should have obtained credit pass (C) in the subject Music/Dance/Art & Design as the case maybe and at least ordinary passes (S) in other two subjects in the Advanced level examination 2024 and should have the eligibility to apply for the University admission.
