Bachelor of Science Honours in Physical Education Degree Programme Academic Year 2025 2026

The Bachelor of Science Honours in Physical Education is offered by the University of Jaffna, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. The admissions process includes an assessment of physical fitness and sports ability. Eligibility is based on academic results from the G.C.E (A/L) examination and an evaluation of prior sports achievements.

Selection is based on a practical test and marks allocated for previous sports achievements. Applicants must submit certified copies of certificates showing their highest sports achievements. The application includes uploading supporting documents and submitting a signed application form and original payment receipt by the stated deadlines.

The degree programme uses English as the medium. Applicants need to qualify for the physical fitness assessment and complete the application process to be considered for university admission.

Candidates should have obtained at least three “S” grades in any three subjects at the G.C.E (A/L) examination 2025 and qualify for the physical fitness assessment to be eligible for the university admissions for the academic year 2025/2026.
