BA Musik Gesang 6502

BA Musik, Gesang is a BA major that focuses on music and singing. Students study using a Major–Minor model, where the major sets their study focus. They can add one or two minors to deepen skills from the major or expand across disciplines. Alternatively, they can choose an individual study area (ISB) made up of opened courses, depending on access requirements and space limits.

The program is structured as a regular course of study lasting 6 semesters, with 150 / 180 credits for the Major / BA. The main teaching language is German. Music students can use the Campus Toni-Areal for practice, rehearsals, and learning for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The training includes work with early and contemporary music, including interpreting and presenting in both traditional and experimental forms through ensembles and event formats.
