Bachelor in Life Sciences Pharmatechnologie

The Bachelor in Life Sciences – Pharmatechnology at University of Applied Sciences Aargau trains students for work in developing, producing, and controlling modern medicines. The degree combines knowledge from chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics with pharma-focused applications, with emphasis on innovation, quality, and regulation.

Learning is offered with a mix of theory and practice. Students work regularly from the first semester in laboratory and technical environments in the Process Technology Center. The program uses in-person teaching and totals 180 ECTS points, with study options in part-time (job-related) and full-time.

After the degree, graduates can plan and optimize pharmaceutical production processes at laboratory and large-scale levels, develop pharmaceutical formulations and packaging, and work in roles linked to pharmaceutical production, development, process technology, quality assurance, quality control, technical project management, and GMP. The program also supports work in authorities or organizations focused on regulation.
