The Bachelor in Life Sciences – Biotechnologie at the University of Applied Sciences Aargau is a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with a specialization in Biotechnologie. It focuses on applying modern methods from molecular biology, process technology, and analytics to produce industrially relevant molecules. The program combines scientific fundamentals with engineering practice, using biological systems to produce molecules such as therapeutic proteins.
Students start laboratory work from the beginning and learn to develop and optimize biological production processes in the lab and in production. They also analyze biological samples using modern measurement and evaluation methods, and they evaluate scientific data and document results.
