Master in Finance

The University of Applied Sciences Aargau offers a Master in Finance with a Master of Science in Finance award. Students build knowledge in four areas: finance markets (global markets, financial investments, and institutions), finance management (corporate financing, valuation, and accounting), methods and ethics (quantitative analysis and responsible decision-making), and practical skills. Practical skills include applying models to real questions, using digital tools, and participating in the CFA Institute Research Challenge.

The program uses full-time and part-time options (work-study/ongoing study) and combines in-person and remote learning. Students complete a total of 90 ECTS points, with at least 60 ECTS from required modules and 30 ECTS from elective modules. Delivery takes place in Basel, and an international stay is possible. The course includes lab modules and supports participation in the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
