Master in Finance

The Master in Finance at University of Applied Sciences Basel (FHBB) leads to a Master of Science in Finance. Students complete at least 90 ECTS points, with at least 60 ECTS from core modules and 30 ECTS from elective modules. The curriculum covers four competency areas: finance markets, finance management, methods and ethics, and practical skills.

Teaching is offered in English with an in-person and remote learning setup. The program can be studied full-time or part-time alongside work. Students apply models to real issues, use digital tools, and take part in the CFA Institute Research Challenge. Laboratory modules support practical work, and an exchange period abroad is possible.
