Master in Life Sciences Angewandte Zellbiologie

The Master in Life Sciences – Applied Cell Biology trains you to use applied methods in the lab. You work with single-cell assays, complex microphysiological systems, automated cell culture, high-content screening, and related cell engineering and assay development. The course focuses on cell-based systems for drug discovery and on analytical methods used within high-content screening.

Learning is offered with in-person and remote components. The program includes practice-oriented modules where you set up automated cell culture systems, apply high-content screening in real projects, and work with modern microphysiological systems. Study mode is part-time alongside work or full-time, with 90 ECTS points. An exchange term or a master’s thesis abroad is possible.
