Master in Life Sciences Applied Cell Biology

The Master’s degree in Life Sciences – Applied Cell Biology (Master of Science in Life Sciences) trains you to apply methods in the laboratory, including single-cell assays, complex microphysiological systems, and automated cell cultures. You study cell engineering and high-throughput assays, microphysiological systems, cell imaging and analytics, and process and analysis automation, with electives in related fields such as Pharma Technology, Bioanalytics, and Analytical Chemistry.

The programme is practice-oriented and delivered with learning modes of onsite and online. You can study full-time (3 semesters) or part-time/work-study (6 semesters). A total of 90 ECTS credits are earned through module work that includes project work and academic writing, interdisciplinary collaboration, career planning, and a master thesis. Industrial and research careers are supported through practical assignments in research institutions and companies, and an exchange semester or a thesis abroad is possible.
