The Master in Life Sciences – Bioanalytik prepares students to combine modern key technologies such as proteomics, mass spectrometry, and biomarker analytics with practice-oriented projects. Students work on biomarker analytics (analysis, detection, and identification of biomarkers), modern molecular technologies (including proteomics, genomics, molecular biology, microbiology, and in-vitro diagnostics), and diagnostic methods (development and validation for lab or clinical use).
Learning includes module groups for the Bioanalytik specialisation and a practice-oriented master’s thesis. The page describes an eight-month master’s thesis with industry partners, in hospitals, or at international research institutes in Switzerland or abroad. The programme uses remote and in-person learning modes and is offered as part-time alongside work or full-time. An international option includes a Double Degree at partner universities or completing the master’s thesis abroad.
