The Master in Life Sciences (Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry) is a Master of Science programme in Life Sciences focused on organic and supramolecular chemistry. You deepen your expertise in photochemistry, electrosynthesis, flow chemistry and (bio)catalysis, and you design and synthesise functional nanosystems such as biomolecular conjugates and bioactive surfaces for applications in pharmaceuticals, agriculture and materials science.
Learning is organised as a full-time or part-time programme. The programme offers onsite and online learning. It includes a core combination of Organic Chemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry, supported by electives from related fields such as Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharma Technology and Chemical Engineering, plus modules on scientific working and communication and interdisciplinary thinking.
You complete a practice-oriented master’s thesis undertaken over eight months at an industry partner or partner university, and you can earn a double degree at a partner university or complete your thesis abroad.
