Master in Life Sciences Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry

The Master in Life Sciences – Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry (Master of Science in Life Sciences) develops advanced knowledge in modern organic chemistry and in molecule and synthesis design, including photochemistry, electrochemistry, flow chemistry, and (bio)catalysis. It also covers functional systems and surfaces, such as bioconjugates, bioactive surfaces, and functional materials for therapeutic or diagnostic applications.

The programme is practice-oriented and combines core modules in Organic Chemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry with electives from related fields, including Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharma Technology, and Chemical Engineering. Students complete an eight-month master’s thesis with an industry partner or partner university. Study mode is full-time or part-time/work-study, with learning offered onsite and online. A double degree is available through a partner university.
