Master in Life Sciences Organische Und Supramolekulare Chemie

The Master in Life Sciences in Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry (Master of Science in Life Sciences) trains you in organic and supramolecular chemistry with an applied focus. You build depth in areas including photochemistry, electrosynthesis, flow chemistry, and (bio-)catalysis. You also develop functional nano-systems by designing and synthesizing biomolecular conjugates, bioactive surfaces, and functional (nano-)systems for fields such as pharma, agriculture, and material science.

Teaching combines remote and in-person learning settings. The program follows a structured plan that combines the core modules “Organic Chemistry” and “Supramolecular Chemistry” with electives from areas such as analytical chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, and chemical engineering. Your practical capstone is an eight-month master’s thesis carried out with an industry partner or a partner university, and you can choose an international option through a double degree or by completing the thesis abroad.
