Master in Life Sciences Pharmatechnologie

The Master in Life Sciences – Pharmatechnologie (Master of Science in Life Sciences) trains you for work in pharmaceutical development and production. Your studies focus on formulation and administration of medicines, formulation of biologics, and continuous pharmaceutical production. You also cover planning and technical implementation of pharmaceutical production facilities, plus elective modules in areas such as analytical chemistry, applied cell biology, biotechnology, and bioanalytics.

Study mode is full-time or part-time while working. Learning takes place in person and remotely. The programme offers 90 / 120 ECTS points for the double degree option. You complete a master thesis that includes practical experience through an eight-month master’s work in industry or research. Teaching is delivered at the FHNW Campus Muttenz.
