The Master in Life Sciences with a focus on Environmental Technologies qualifies you for responsible and applied work in industry, research, and consulting. You study topics including environmental risk assessment, protection of water resources, the link between business and ecology, resource efficiency, environmental process technology, waste management and technologies, and environmental remediation.
Teaching uses a mix of remote and face-to-face learning. The programme supports practice through research labs and pilot facilities at the Process Technology Center (PTC). The Master’s thesis is done as an applied project with an industry partner or at a university and is described as lasting eight months.
You can take an international option through a Double Degree with partner universities, or you can complete the Master’s thesis abroad. The degree is a Master of Science in Life Sciences and the learning setting is designed around the environmental-technology specialization.
