Bachelor of Industrial Art Design

The Bachelor of Industrial Art & Design at Ndejje University equips students with creative and technical skills in art, design, and visual communication. The curriculum covers topics such as art and design elements, drawing, illustration, painting, pottery making, printmaking, sculpture, textile, colour theory, and design computing, with courses that support visual communication and product design.

Learning includes practical studio-style work through workshops, studio work, and industrial attachments. The structure includes multi-term study with modules such as Industrial Training and Exhibition alongside design, research, and communication modules. The program is designed to prepare graduates for work in graphic design, product design, illustration, sculpture, and multimedia production.

Direct Entry

• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least 2 principal passes, including a relevant subject (e.g., Fine Art, Design, or Sciences)

Diploma Entry

• Relevant diploma in art, design, or a related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE

Mature Age Entry

• A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination

International Applicants

• Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
• Academic documents must be equated where necessary
• Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
