Bachelor of Information Technology

The Bachelor of Information Technology at Ndejje University equips students with knowledge and practical skills in computing, networking, software development, and information systems management. Students learn to design, develop, and maintain IT solutions for business and organizational challenges, with course work covering areas such as information security, computer networks, databases, systems analysis, and software engineering.

Teaching combines theoretical foundations with hands-on experience. The course includes practical training alongside modules such as Industrial Training and a Final Year Project. Study is available on a Day/Weekend basis, with a main focus on applying skills across software development, network administration, information systems development, and IT project planning and management.

Direct Entry
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least 2 principal passes, including Mathematics or a relevant science subject

Diploma Entry
Relevant diploma in ICT, Computer Science, or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE

Mature Age Entry
A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination

International Applicants
Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
Academic documents must be equated where necessary
