Bachelor of Laws for 2022 2023 Academic Year

The Bachelor of Laws at Makerere University has an admission requirement that applicants sit and pass a pre-entry examination. The examination covers reading and comprehension skills, language skills, numerical skills and logic, general knowledge, and analytical writing skills.

Applicants are required to meet the University’s minimum admission requirements and then qualify to sit the examination through one of the listed entry categories: A’ Level leavers, diploma holders, mature age applicants, or degree holders. Admission is based on performance in the pre-entry examination and intake capacities for private day, private afternoon, and related applicant categories.
