Diploma in Taxation Management

The Diploma in Taxation Management at Nkumba University is designed for people employed in Revenue Authorities in East and Central African regions, and for those employed in Local Governments in Uganda and neighbouring countries in the East and Central African region. It also includes A level students seeking entry into university education, and students who want to specialize in Taxation Management.

The programme is a two years course. The structure, and the course modules and career path, are provided through the programme listing, with an entry requirements section for applicants to Diploma programmes.

Applicants for Diploma programmes should hold:

• A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a minimum of 5 passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
• Uganda Advanced Level Certificate (UACE) with at least one Principal Pass, and 2 subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
• A certificate obtained after 2 years of post UCE study from a recognized institution;
• Any equivalent Certificate besides UCE and UACE from a recognized institution.
