Diploma in Wildlife and Forestry Management

Nkumba University’s Diploma in Wildlife and Forestry Management develops students’ understanding of conservation, ecology, and sustainable resource management. The course prepares students for work in wildlife conservation, park management, and sustainable resource management.

Learning includes hands-on experience through field trips and research projects, delivered as part of the diploma programme.

Applicants for Diploma programmes should hold:

• A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a minimum of 5 passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
• Uganda Advanced Level Certificate (UACE) with at least one Principal Pass, and 2 subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
• Or a certificate obtained after post UCE study from a recognized institution.
• Or any equivalent Certificate besides UCE and UACE from a recognized institution.
