The Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics prepares students for professional Business Intelligence and Data Analytics practice in a wide range of contexts. Students build knowledge and skills to master, acquire, formulate, design, implement, and administer business and data analytics in modern business. The programme also includes knowledge and skills for interventions in mitigating business problems in complex situations, including financial intelligence.
Delivery follows a structured programme in which students complete a minimum of thirty-three courses and a project on an approved Business Intelligence and Data Analytics problem. Normal evaluation uses continuous assessment with an end-of-course examination. Course work accounts for 30% and the examination accounts for 70%. Students go on attachment for the whole year during the third year, and to register for the project they must pass KBM225 Business Research Methods in the second year.
