Bachelor of Science Honours in International Relations

The Bachelor of Science Honours in International Relations at Africa University is an undergraduate programme that examines international relations through African ideas and institutions. It emphasizes the promotion and defence of African interests in global politics, and it studies the role of Kemet in shaping concepts related to government and economics.

The programme also analyses African-created organisations such as the Southern African Development Community, Common Market of Eastern and Southern Africa, East African Community, Economic Community of West African States and the African Union. It further examines organisations created and controlled by non-Africans, including the United Nations and its Agencies, the European Union and the North American Free Trade Area. Learning mode is full time, and the location is the main campus, with a duration of 4 year(s).

• At least two GCE Advanced Level passes or a relevant Diploma.
• 5 ‘ O’ Level passes at grade “C” or better including English Language.
• Special Entry: Applicants must be at 25 years or above at the time of application.
• Applicants must have obtained 5 ‘O’ Level subjects including English and History.
• Applicants must have demonstrated their suitability for university studies by attaining of additional qualification or relevant work experience.
• Applicants should normally have completed their school or college studies at least five years prior to admission.
