The Master of Commerce Degree in Strategy and Innovation (BS21) at Midlands State University is a two-year programme for students with an undergraduate background in accounting, management, human resources and other equivalent qualifications. It focuses on strategy and business innovation and includes areas of study in Business Innovation, New venture creation, and Digital transformation strategies.
Teaching and assessment use formal examinations held at the end of each semester. To be admitted to examinations, students must attempt approved modules with required written assignments and term papers, attend compulsory classes, and participate in prescribed seminars, tutorials and practical classes. Continuous assessment accounts for 40% of overall assessment, while the final examination accounts for 60%. Students require 360 credits to complete the programme.
