The Master of Commerce in Human Resources Management at Zimbabwe Open University develops advanced knowledge and strategic competencies in human resource management. Students study strategic human resource management, labour relations, organisational behaviour, leadership, performance management, and change management. The curriculum also includes human capital research methods and research-led decision making through research methods training and supervised dissertation work.
The programme is delivered through the flexible open and distance electronic learning model. It is organised into one and half years, with each year comprising two semesters. Students take a minimum of five courses per semester. The qualification includes eleven examinable courses plus a dissertation, with the dissertation consisting of a proposal and a final dissertation.
