The Master of Science Degree in Optic Fibre and Photonic Engineering at Midlands State University provides advanced knowledge of optical fibre and photonic technologies. Graduates can pursue roles including Fiber Optics Engineer, Optical Scientist, Laser Systems Engineer, Electro Optical Engineer, Optomechanical Engineer, and others, and may also proceed to doctoral studies in related opto-electronics and optics fields.
Prospective students must hold at least a second class first degree in Physics, Applied Physics or any other material science related degree from any university recognized by Midlands State University.
