Diploma in Screen Media
Introduction
Diploma in Screen Media is a Diploma program taught at Raffles University, Malaysia. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.
The Diploma in Screen Media at Raffles University prepares students to script, shoot, design, and edit screen content. Students work across storytelling, production design, sound, lighting, and post-production, covering film, television, streaming, and social media video.
The programme lasts 2 years and 4 months, with a total of 90 credit hours. It includes field trips, personalised learning, and a presentation showcase. Students complete a Creative Portfolio and a Final Project, and the programme includes an internship.

Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Screen Media at Raffles University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
- program specific academic requirment set by Raffles University.
- English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Raffles University as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Screen Media.

Diploma in Screen Media
- SPM: Credit in 3 subjects
- O Level: Grade C in 3 subjects
- UEC: Grade B in 3 subjects
- STPM: Grade C (CGPA2.00) in 1 subject
- A level: Full Pass in 2 subjects
- STAM: Minimum Maqbul grade and Credit in English at SPM level
- Creative Multimedia Certificate (MQF Level 3): CGPA 2.00
- Other: Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government which will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Additional Requirement: Pass “RU Portfolio Assessment and Interview”
INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH ENTRY REQUIREMENT
- IELTS: 4.5
- TOEFL Essentials (Online): 6.5
- TOEFL iBT: 33
- PTE: 43
- MUET: Band 3
- Cambridge English / Linguaskill: 147
*Students who did not meet the English Requirement are required to take the RU English Preparation Programme (EPP) AND achieve the requirement of any equivalent English qualification.
