Introduction

Bachelor in Business (Accountancy) (Honours) is a Bachelor program taught at Raffles University, Malaysia. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Bachelor in Business (Accountancy) (Honours) at Raffles University combines business modules with a focus on accounting. Students develop understanding of business operations from the accounting perspective and are trained to use business, law, and accounting techniques. The programme includes preparing financial and non-financial information, tax computation and reporting to support future decision making.

The programme length is 3 Years with 120 Credit Hours. It includes practical workshop and field trip elements and a Professional Attachment in Year 3. Admission Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor in Business (Accountancy) (Honours) at Raffles University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

program specific academic requirment set by Raffles University.
English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Raffles University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor in Business (Accountancy) (Honours).

STPM: Grade C+ (CGPA2.33) in 2 subjects AND (a)

A level: Full PASS in 2 subjects AND (a)

UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects AND (a)

Matriculation/Foundation/Asasi: CGPA 2.00

Diploma (MQF level 4)/ Advanced Diploma (MQF level 5): PASS

STAM: JAYYID grades AND (a)

Others: Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysia Government which will be considered on a case by case basis.

(a) Additional Requirement:

*A PASS in Mathematics AND English at SPM level or equivalent qualifications

*Note:

Those without a pass in Mathematics and/or English at SPM level or equivalent can be admitted but are required to attend special enhancement course(s). These special enhancement courses should be SPM equivalent, remedial in nature. Students must pass the Mathematics and English enhancement courses as a prerequisite to related core courses taught in English. [Not Applicable to International Candidates]

*Remarks

Can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with an equivalent/higher achievement.

Malaysian students using English as the medium of instruction in their previous study or with at least Band 2 in MUET or equivalent can be exempted from a pass in English requirement.

English subject requirement does not apply to international students since they are required to meet certain scores of international English examinations and privileged with certain exemptions.
