Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration Odl is a PhD program taught at Raffles University, Malaysia. Intake: January / May / September. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration is a full research programme that builds advanced research knowledge in business administration. Students focus on the philosophy of science paradigms that determine methodological designs and develop a systematic and ethical approach to research in specialised areas. The programme aims to support independent research activities and the ability to analyse and evaluate complex management issues through independent research.

Research Methods (16 Hours Core Module) and the Dissertation structure the course.

Students identify research problems and objectives, conduct literature review, select research approach and design, present a research proposal, conduct original research and collect results, present conclusions, write and submit a thesis as a dissertation, and defend the thesis in an oral viva voce examination.

The research process also includes conference presentation, publication, attending workshop or training, and carrying out research. Delivery is available through Open Distance Learning or conventional, with Open Distance Learning as semi-self-paced learning using learning materials on an LMS and alternative week online face-to-face consultation.
