MSC Embedded Systems 1
Introduction
MSC Embedded Systems 1 is a Masters program taught at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Intake: August. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (120 ECTS credits) options.
KTH Royal Institute of Technology’s MSc Embedded Systems provides a thorough understanding of embedded systems and specialisation in a specific area, with theoretical and practical aspects of embedded systems development. Students learn engineering skills for integrating software and hardware, including system design, integration, verification, and management of the design process.
The programme offers two tracks: the Embedded Electronics track and the Embedded Systems Design track. The programme totals 120 ECTS credits, with mandatory courses, specialised track courses, elective courses, and a final degree project in the final semester. The degree project can be conducted at KTH, another university, or a company, and includes a thesis report, presentation, and defence.
After graduation, KTH states that students are awarded the Master of Science degree. KTH also states that graduates can work as a hardware design engineer, embedded software engineer, consultant, developer, programmer, project manager, R&D engineer, industrial expert, or startup founder, and can pursue a career in academia as a researcher or doctoral student.
