Introduction

Aeronautical Engineering is a Bachelor program taught at Antioch University - Seattle, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

In the Aeronautical Engineering major, cadets study aerodynamics, propulsion, flight mechanics, stability and control, aircraft structures, materials, and experimental methods. In their senior year capstone, cadets select one of two design sequences: aircraft design or aircraft engine design.

The program uses a design-build-fly approach with hands-on learning in an aeronautics laboratory. Cadets work on real-world design problems with wind tunnels and jet engines. The curriculum also includes a sample course sequence covering topics such as aircraft dynamic stability and control, flight test techniques, and aircraft engine design. Graduates are prepared to pursue engineering and acquisition careers in the Air Force or Space Force.
