Introduction

General Engineering is a Bachelor program taught at Antioch University - Seattle, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

General Engineering is a major recommended for cadets who want a broad, flexible curriculum with a high degree of individual choice. It is also an alternative for cadets already declared in a STEM disciplinary major who find the divisional approach less suited to meeting graduation requirements. The major is not ABET accredited, and it must be approved by the division chair or advisor in charge.

The program requires 134 total semester hours, including 93 semester hours of Dean’s academic core courses. Core requirements include Statistics and named options in STEM, sociocultural, and open areas, plus a Director of Athletics core requirement. The remaining 36 semester hours come from major course options such as Engr Option, Engr/Bas Sci Option, Math Option, and Open Option, with specific course lists where provided.
